Description
The intranet site for mulderobdam is base on the phpBB session, template system and I used the db class for it to. From there on the site is costum build. A special rigths/groups/user system making it possible easy assigning rigths to groups of emplyees. The user system is hooked up to an eDirectory via LDAP to verify users. If a user vierify's at the eDirectory but not exists in the intranet database he/she gets placed in a special user with limited rigths. By using this way of authentication people on the intranet forums realy post something out of their own name and not under a nickname as on normal forrums. To make access from home possible it is placed behind a firewall with WebVPN to allow employees login from home and discuss on the forums, checking the latest news or take a look in the photo album.
