Friday night Themed Links week 6: Top 5 Nokia N73 Applications
Got a new phone last tuesday, a Nokia N73. So I started looking for good apps on it and come up with this list:
- Opera Mini is the mini mobile version of the desktop browser. A great feature in the mini version is that they run everything through a proxy. Normally this would be a bad thing but for people like me that don't browse online alot so bandwidth is expensive it's a great feature. Their proxy cuts alot in the size of a webpage without loosing on design. Going from 410KB to 41KB is a 90% loss so worth installing and imo the browser works alot easier then the default internal browser.
PuTTY is the very well known SSH client for windows now available for your mobile.MidpSSH is a small and tiny SSh client for almost any mobile platform there is out there!- Smart2Go is a free map application for your mobile. You can enter your route and Smart2Go helps you reach your destination.
- Webcam Don't have an webcam but want to see each other on IM? Then download this program to use your N73 as a webcam.
- Screenshot is a little tool to make screenshots on your mobile.
