My 3rd day at school result tired :$

First of all, I wasyesterday evening top tired to even post here

I was at college again just like yesterday, when I decided to do VB.Net as a step from PHP to C++. I did install MSDN and Visual Studio and the rest of the time we played UT (Unreal Tournement). A classmate and I stayed longer because my installation wasn't finished before the end of college hours. So we played some more UT Very Happy border=

Yesterday:

Wrote a virtual life time class for real life; It's a nice piece of code; This class calculates with INIT2 the age of the current logged in user. It's also can calculate (and cach) others users age when the hack needs that. There is an auth function included to check of the user is old enough to do an 'event' (like marry you need to be 18 for that by law, get pregnant a 5 year old can't get prenant that kinda stuff )

Today:

Wrote a API handling class for real life; I wrote it to make it a lot easyer for other developers to let 2 ppl marry. with just 1 function call I did divorce today I wan't to do marry and child API call's tomorrow . I also add to divorce, gonne do it with all the other to, BEGIN_TRANSACTION and END_TRANSACTION. When a query fails, like INSERT or UPDATE, the data isn't update so you won't get 'damaged' data anymore (can't garentied that anyway )

My first day at college :)

Hi,

I started at school today. It was kinda fun whe had to install windows xp (yuck) in total there where 5 xp cd's and 3 win 2003 for 20 students Neutral

I got ti working now gonne try to get a VPN between my homenetwork and my HDD Smile

. We had to install xp on our personel HDD we got from school Very Happy border=

(unhappy me we have to give it back at the end of the year). I gonne learn C++ there Smile

. we also have to work in a project group working together on 1 project.

Today:

Edit a litle piece of code in common.php, add a little piece of code in marriage_install.php. This result in no errors when runninginstall when updating or doing a new install of the real life hack.

The day of the split personality :P

Hi,

It was a hot day today. I managed to do some things like finished real life 0.7.1 and sending it to the testers and testing the toplist on php5. College is gonne start tomorrow so I happy cause it's a while ago since I got to school Very Happy border=

Today:

zipped and send the real life hack to the testers mostly good response some minor changes are needed including the install file
tested the toplist on PHP5 working great for me

Being a littel ill day :(

Hi,

My girl was here today so I didn't spent much time behind my computers. I also got a littel ill today but that will be over tomorrow (I hope Angel

). Tomorrow is also my last day free before I gotte go to college again. The real life hack 0.7.1 is done and goes out for testing so I have time for doing the PHP5 Vs. Toplist now (finaly Very Happy border=

).

Today:

Wrote the PCP version of the marry me link in the memberlist. It's was a little hard to find the right place in the maps file but I found it and it works. Also the PCP version doesn't perform any checks except if the user is logged in, to save server load
Made the update from 0.7.0 to 0.7.1 files for the real life hack
0.7.1 is finished and goes out for testing to the testers tomorrow when I ziped all files. Make a backup of my servers and the test server to make sure nothing will be lost .

A good dev day :D

I didn't get time to do the toplist testing on PHP5 unfortuently Sad

But I did get the real life hack almost ready for the (beta) testers it only needs a piece of extra instructions to cover the PCP version of it Very Happy border=

.

Today:

The delete part of the real life hack was once tested good to be used for release.
Added a extra featere on request to the real life hack: a link in the memberlist to marry some one. I't just basic a link to church.php the check if you realy can marry some one is done by church.php to save a lot of server load caused if it check for every user on the page it saves 1 SQl query for every user on that page in the list .

The still a little bit pissed on ISP day :)

Hi,

I started late developing today not the less I make good progress on both the blog and on the newsletter script. Happy but still a little pissed me got only 1 time so far disconnected todat from the internet Smile

The day of the bastard ISP :(

Hi,

I got disconnected about 5 times from the internet without a reason I check my router and I didn't even got an IP address from my ISP. I'm not the only one on my ISP, chello, that has problems like this it happends to everyone once in some months and it can take from 2 days up to 2 weeks before the problems stop

. It made me pissed on my ISP.

Today:

Fixed an importand bug in the real life hack (marriage hack). The bug caused a situation like this:
- You set in the ACP the limit for partners to 3
- In church.php the actual limit is 2 because the use of

Changed some minor code regarding the login for my site it caused some (404) errors.
